This is a full-time opportunity for someone who wants to build income, sharpen their sales skills, and grow with an agency that serves individuals, families, and businesses across Texas and Arkansas. The Thomas Scott Agency focuses on personal, commercial, life, and specialty insurance, with an approach built on education, accountability, and long-term relationships.

Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives set by agency leadership
- Prospect for new business through leads, referrals, call activity, networking, and follow-up
- Develop insurance quotes, present coverage options, and close sales
- Sell and promote personal, commercial, life, and specialty insurance solutions
- Ask every customer for referrals and explain our referral process
- Follow underwriting, rating, and compliance guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of products, coverages, and agency procedures
- Make outbound calls using VOIP phone systems, dialing tools, and internet-based technology
- Maintain daily activity, phone time, and sales goals as directed by management
- Work independently while also contributing to a positive team culture
- Deliver strong customer service before, during, and after the sale

- Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Insurance experience is not required, but willingness to learn is required
- Ability to adapt to change, learn quickly, and stay productive
